Humanities Trip to Poland 2016
Humanities Faculty Field Trip to Krakow, Poland
Estimated dates: February half term 2016
We are pleased to announce our intention to take a residential field trip to Krakow in Poland in the February half term holiday week 2016. This will be an educational visit, which supports the learning in History of WWII, the Holocaust in RE and East European culture for Geography. We regard it as an excellent opportunity for our students to experience life in a very different cultural environment to the UK and hope that the challenges that the week provides will spur them on to considerable achievements.
The trip is being offered to all students who have opted for a GCSE in a Humanities’ subject for current Years 9 and 10. This is the second time that we will be running a fieldwork residential to Poland and we know that it is a very popular trip so it is likely that a reserve list will be drawn up in the event that we exceed the maximum student capacity. The maximum number of students we can take is 40 due to restrictions with the accommodation size.
